InnovationSpace Announces Projects for 2011–2012 program

Students in ASU's InnovationSpace program will tackle an expanded range of social challenges during the 2011-2012 academic year, thanks to new and renewed support from the program's ASU and corporate sponsors.

InnovationSpace welcomes returning sponsor Dow Corning, an international corporation that specializes in silicon-based technologies. Dow Corning will support three student teams charged with developing sustainable lighting in the home and workplace.

Also renewing its support is ASU's Center for Nanotechnolgy in Society. Natural and social scientists from CNS-ASU will help InnovationSpace student teams to explore the social and environmental implications of nano-enabled product concepts that improve public health.

InnovationSpace is pleased to welcome new project partner Disney Consumer Products. Disney is collaborating with InnovationSpace students to develop sustainable lifestyle products for children.
